WHAT IS THE WINGFOOT ALLIANCE
The point and purpose of the Wingfoot Alliance is to create a platform for future generations, and elite athletes alike, to share a space and progress down their chosen route within the cycling domain.
At Goodyear, we are passionate about racing, but we believe that there is more to riding a bicycle than competition. For us it is also about a passion and connection to a lifestyle afforded by two wheels. On top of this there are those that see the humble bike as a simple and practical tool for getting from A to B.

Millions of people depend on a bicycle as their primary mode of transportation. From elite level racing and the pinnacle of freeride, to the passionate weekend warrior and commuters, there are incredible, inspirational stories from around the globe, and we want to help give them a voice.
Family members come from all diciplines of our sport, including Freestyle MTB rider Sam Pilgrim, Gravel cyclist personality Dave Noakes, Adam Christianson of the Metal Core band Architects, to name but a few.

THE STORY SO FAR
We can’t believe it has been nearly 3 years since we announced the birth of the Wingfoot Alliance, the Goodyear Bicycle Tires ambassador program. What a ride it has been! We were excited to welcome on board the first athletes to the program, mountain bike riders Olly Wilkins, Joel Anderson and Connor Macfarlane, three names who need no introduction in the MTB world. Throughout that period, we were also proud to support some of best road cycling teams in the world and put Goodyear Bicycle Tires to the test at highest level of the sport.
As we step forward into 2023 we want to stay true to roots of the program. The Wingfoot Alliance™ was conceived around the idea of becoming a shared space where professional athletes and enthusiasts alike can benefit from being part of a global family- providing inspiration, sharing tips and insights. We want to create a community of like-minded individuals around the world.

The Wingfoot Alliance recently closed for new 2023 applications. We are in the process of selecting new recruits out of the thouands of you who applied.
This year has gotten even more difficult to select new team members as the size and standard of interest has grown.
Thank you to those who applied, if you have been sucessful you will hear from us soon. If you do not hear from us directly, it means you have not been sucessful, this year! This does not mean you will never be sucessful, it just means this year we have been looking for something slightly different, or due to the sheer numbers we have missed you this time around. Please keep on trying, and keep on growing, we hope to hear from you again next year.
